his is the newest event in the Haley’s Hill Trilogy. What a better way to end your day than by participating in the areas only August half marathon. The course is bumpy, yet beautiful, starting at Two Rivers Bike Park and ending beyond Shelvin Rock along the river. The course is tree lined and tree shaded providing much relief from August temperatures. Plenty of on course aid, pre and post race treats, great finishing medals and awards will make this a must. Entering both of the Haley’s Hill events will reduce your entry fee and earn you a commemorative gift. It is recommended that you carry your own water bottle and be highly visible on the course. Headlamps, flashlights, reflection will help keep you safe. Come run and have fun. The event is limited to the first 125 entries. Limited to 125 Runners! DISTANCE: 13.1 Miles (21.1 Kilometers) DATE: August 19, 2017 STAGING: Nixa High School 514 S Nicholas Rd, Nixa, MO TRANSPORT GROUPS: You will be notified via E-mail of your Transportation Group. Group one will be leaving at 6:20pm to the start line; Group two is leaving at 6:40pm to the start line. PARKING AREAS: The staging area will be at NIXA HIGH SCHOOL with transportation provided to and from the start/finish lines. NO Vehicles Will Be Allowed At Two Rivers Bike Park!! COURSE DESCRIPTION: The course holds a beautiful country setting beginning at Two Rivers Bike Park. It winds through the countryside beyond Shelvin rock and finishes at Big Bend Bridge. Rolling hills and evening temperatures will make this a fun and challenging half marathon. RACE START: 7:00 p.m. (rain or shine) BIB PICKUP & RACE-DAY REGISTRATION: August 1, 2018 at ATC 241 S. Union, Springfield, MO before 5:30pm or on race day at 6pm. ENTRY FEES: $65 or $55 if you also run the 5K/10K Haley’s Hope Hot N Hilly at 7am. Run both races and receive a special commemorative gift! AID STATIONS: Hydration/Aid stations will be provided every 2 miles. Personal water bottles are recommended to be carried! RECOMMENDATIONS: Lights, flashers, and reflective wear are highly recommend
