25 Early Bird Registration Open Until April 12! Be a hero! Register for the Citizens Memorial Health Care Foundation's "Heroes for Hospice" 5K/10K Run on Saturday, May 4. Both courses will begin in front of the CMH Community Rooms and will conclude with a loop around Dunnegan Park. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. and will be electronically timed for accuracy. Medals will be awarded to overall male and female in both races and to first place male and female winners in each age division as well as the oldest and youngest "hero". Participants dressed as their favorite superhero is encouraged! Early bird registration is $25 per person ($15 youth 12 and under) on or before April 12 and includes a T-shirt. Registration after April 13 is $30 per person ($15 youth 12 and under) and does not include a race shirt. Runners can also register the day of the event until 8 a.m. On-line registration closes May 2. Registrations are non-refundable. All ages and levels of physical activity are encouraged to attend. Walkers, strollers and pets are welcome! No charge for strollers and four-legged friends! Early event check-in is encouraged on Friday, May 3 in the CMH Community Rooms. Times will be announced. Participants picking up event packets on race day should be at the Community Rooms between 7:00 -8:00 a.m. for check-in. Cooperation in arriving early for packet pick-up and registration is appreciated. Restrooms will be available for participants. The course will close at 10:15 a.m. We do not recommend walkers on the 10K route. Race shirts will not be held or available after the event concludes. Medals awarded after the race. Male 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, 50-60, and Senior (60+) Female 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, 50-60, and Senior (60+) And oldest and youngest "hero" Proceeds will support CMH Hospice. NOTE: If your registration was successful, you will receive a confirmation email. The route includes mixed-terrain around the park. If you choose to stay on the asphalt, your distance may not be accurate. Refund/Cancellation Policy: No refunds or entry fees will be issued including cancellation due to inclement weather.
