LOCAL DIRT-TRAIL ROUTES

Sac River Mountain Bike Trails - not just for mountain bikers but for runners and hikers too.

There are over 14 miles of interconnecting single-track trails for you to play on. To get to Sac River just take hwy 13 North toward Bolivar and you will see a brown sign on the right side of the road telling you to turn left. It is approximately 3 miles north of the intersection of I-44 and Hwy 13

Fellows Lake - Located about 6 miles north of Springfield off of Hwy 65 this 2.5-mile trail has two trailheads. One is located on the east side of the lake and the other near the marina. It is not a super technical trail but it does have hills, rocks, and dirt.

Lake Springfield - There are lots to do at Lake Springfield Park but we are only here to talk trail systems. There are approximately 1.4 miles of marked trail but there are several routes off the main trail that runners and hikers take. There is also a paved trail that connects the two trailheads together.

Nature Center - This well-maintained conservation park has 3 miles of trail but limited hours for running.  Usually early morning or late evenings.

Two Rivers Bike Trail - Over 14 miles of single track trail located south of Nixa off HWY M.

Busiek State Park- Is located over 18 miles south of Springfield. There are many routes to choose from in this lovely state park. It is a local favorite when training for the Dogwood Canyon Trail race. Lots of hills, rocks, bluffs, water, and dirt to quench your trail appetite.

White River Valley - This beautiful Missouri State park has lots of trail options to choose from. You can run small loops of just 3 miles or loop all four trails together. This trail is located close to Table Rock State Park and there are lots to do in the area.
